Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, I am actively involved with a cause I really care about - getting books into the hands of children who do not have books to call their own.  I've seen first-hand what a difference it makes for children to have books in the home.  All children should have that same opportunity.  Bridge of Books delivered over 125,000 books last year to underserved children throughout New Jersey.  Yet, there are still so many children to reach.  We have tremendous support from the community through book donations and volunteers.  But the reality is that we need funds to make it all happen.  Here's how you can help:

John and I are running the Brooklyn Half Marathon on Saturday, October 8th and we need some motivation to cross that finish line!  When we signed up 16 weeks ago, it seemed like plenty of time to train.  Somehow four kids, a new puppy and a job got in the way of serious training.  But we've been out there running and would love the support.  

My goal:  cross the finish line and donate $1,300 to Bridge of Books.  

Any donation is appreciated and will go directly to getting books to children who need them.
